Description

A complete connector kit for the replacement of the old, brittle housing from years of use.  Kit provides replacement for the J1 connector common on Classic Solid State Bally/Stern pinball machines 6 and 7 digit displays.

Kit contents:

  • Qty 5, 20 pin housings
  • Qty 100, Type A crimp pins (22-26 AWG)
  • Qty 100, Type B crimp pins (18-20 AWG)
  • Qty 5, key pegs

Tech Tip:

The manufacturers of the components for these kits specify that the contacts are guaranteed for a minimum of 20 insertion/removals.  Overtime oxidation of the plating and stress on the pressure bends responsible for circuit contact will degrade the performance of the signal passed through the contact.  XPin recommends that when replacing a circuit board that the appropriate connectors be re-pinned for optimal performance.
